About
A Little About Me
I am an educator, a researcher and an applied performance scientist.
My education philosophy is based on the development of critical thinking, problem solving and the application of logic with the aim of producing STEM leaders. There is always a demand for scientists who can communicate across fields, build bridges between sectors, and apply diverse technologies.
My specialist research area is the ergonomics of intermittent exercise with a specific focus on team sports performance. I aim to bridge the gap between research and applied practice.
In 2025, I co-founded Colata — an AI-native TU Dublin spinout that consolidates fragmented data streams into unified, actionable insights. Backed by Enterprise Ireland, Colata represents the commercialisation of over two decades of research in performance science and data analytics.
